Green Bay Chappell Elementary School student Jevonte Brown says he's not nervous about singing a solo during tonight's Kenny Rogers' Christmas and Hits Tour at the Weidner Center.

"I just hope the spotlight is not too bright that it hurts my eyes," said the third-grader who will join five classmates in performing with Rogers on stage. The Green Bay Southwest High School Chorale also will participate.

Chappell students will perform with Rogers and his cast, singing six songs as part of the holiday portion of the concert tonight. Brown will sing his solo to open the second act of the show. ...
