Wisconsin health officials are recommending that everyone get a flu shot this season.
Flu season arrived early this year and officials recommend taking immediate precautions to prevent its spread.
Dr. Michael Landrum, infectious disease physician at Bellin Health, said peak flu activity varies year to year, and this year's season started a bit early.
"I don't know if you can make ties between the onset of flu season and the severity (of the virus)," Landrum said. "We'll have to see how this progresses, maybe it means the flu will go away this year a little early, but it's impossible to predict." ...
