Burmans GB Boutique is a new business on Green Bay's west side.

Address: 702 Mather St. (formerly Haus of Hair), Green Bay

Owners: Mike and Barb Pijanowski

Grand opening hours: 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Normally, the store will be open the first and third weekends of the month.

Products and services: Designer labels at 50 percent to 70 percent of retail prices. Brands include UGG boots, Coach purses, Vera Bradley, Juicy Couture, Dolce & Gabanna, Aeropostale and more. Also, home decor, candles, jewelry, totes, wallets and other items. Most items are new. Some are gently used or salesmen's samples.

The company started 10 years ago in Illinois, but had sales over the summer in Ashwaubenon and De Pere.

"Due to the huge response, we purchased the house at 702 Mather St. in Green Bay to continue the tradition in memory of our mother, Dianne M. Nelson, who was from the area," said Barb Pijanowski.

Special Christmas event: In memory of Nelson, Burmans GB Boutique will hold a Christmas event from noon to 4:30 p.m. Dec. 23, during which they will give wrapped gifts to families that would otherwise be unable to provide them to their children. The event will include Santa Claus and elves and refreshments.

"We want to make this a happy holiday season for all by directly reaching out to those we can. In so doing, we ask that only families who are truly in need of assistance come to accept donated gifts," Pijanowski said.
