The first footstep is always the hardest, and this is how Nicole Gosz felt when she took the plunge into running a business.

Gosz graduated from University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh in 2003 with a degree in psychology and community service. Gosz subsequently took an interest in marketing and obtained several years of experience in the field before opening her firm.

"I had been working in sales and marketing for my entire career and had a lot of success with grassroots marketing efforts," Gosz said. "So, opening my own business, Rooted Marketing, was an easy fit and transition for me." ...
