Police nab 31 for seat belt violations

Nearly 40 citations were issued during a seat belt enforcement conducted by the Oshkosh Police Department Wednesday morning.

Five officers issued 38 citations during the enforcement, which ran from 6:30 to 10:30 a.m. Wednesday. Thirty-one citations were for safety belt violations, three were for operating after revocation or suspension and two were for vehicle registration violations. Two citations were also issued for other traffic violations, said Lt. Kevin Konrad.

Officers also issued 13 warnings for other traffic-related violations.
