It was so long ago that it's easy to forget Sam Shields was the Green Bay Packers' starting right cornerback for five games early in the season.

Don't be surprised to see him back in that role Sunday at Chicago.

After missing six straight games because of a high ankle sprain and shin injury he sustained Oct. 14 at Houston, Shields saw his first action in nearly two months last Sunday against the Detroit Lions. He started out playing on special teams until he replaced starter Davon House in the second quarter. He played 58 snaps and helped turn the game when he undercut a deep post route by Lions ...
