Eighteen years ago, the Green Bay Packers played their last game at Milwaukee County Stadium. It turned out to be a rousing sendoff for the old place.

Two months earlier, the Packers announced they would play all their games in Green Bay starting with the 1995 season. It was a financial move. There was more money to be made at an expanded Lambeau Field, where the addition of 90 luxury boxes brought the capacity to 60,890, more than at aging County Stadium.

On Dec. 18, 1994, that last day in Milwaukee, the Packers rallied to defeat the Atlanta Falcons 21-17. A crowd of 54,885 watched on a 33-degree day ...
