Show us jets, not commercials

The Dec. 2 newspaper headline read "Sky View"; the Navy jets would fly over Lambeau Field while the national anthem was playing.

So, while waiting to experience this great event, the TV station chose to run commercials, lasting more than five minutes. They also did the same thing when the Packers management went through great money and manpower to set up a salute to the veterans of the area.

As we all know, commercials are a necessity, so games can be televised. My question is: Why play a commercial while freedom for mankind is playing?
