It was the type of game that could go a long way towards the Peshtigo boys basketball team's hopes of winning a third straight Marinette-Oconto Conference title this season.

Trailing 44-42 at home against Suring on Dec. 13, Jordan Berth setup a screen for Zack Neumann, who hit the game-winning 3-pointer in the closing seconds of a matchup between the last two unbeaten teams in the M&O.

Needless to say it was a big early-season victory for Peshtigo, which had to replace three senior starters from a year ago. ...
