Donovan Porterie will be returning to the Green Bay Blizzard for a second season, the team announced this week.

Porterie became the first quarterback in franchise history last season to start every game. After playing for Blizzard coach Robert Fuller with the Fairbanks Grizzlies in 2011, Porterie completed 57 percent of his passes for 1,990 yards and 44 touchdowns with 18 interceptions in his first year in Green Bay.

The Blizzard also signed former St. Norbert College offensive lineman Tyler Kuehl. The 6-foot-3, 293-pounder was a first team all-Midwest Conference guard in 2010 and 2011, making 32 starts for the Green Knights.
