Rants and raves from Sunday's game between the Green Bay Packers and the Tennessee Titans at Lambeau Field. The Packers won 55-7.

Rave: The Packers played a remarkably disciplined and clean game. They committed no turnovers and had just one accepted penalty for 10 yards.

Rant: Thereís no excuse for fans running onto the field, and the knucklehead who did it in the fourth quarter got what he deserved when he was taken down hard by Titans security director Jim Arts, the former Green Bay police chief.

Rave: Mason Crosby converted both of his field goals, from 26 and 48 yards. The longer kick wasnít pretty ó it bounced off the right upright and deflected over the crossbar ó but the struggling Crosby canít afford to be choosy.

Rant: Greg Jennings had his man beat by a couple steps down the left sideline on a third-and-1 play in the second quarter, but Aaron Rodgers overthrew him on what should have been a 37-yard touchdown pass. The Packers settled for a field goal.

Rave: The stingy Packers defense rose up early in the second quarter and stopped the Titans cold. On third-and-inches from the Packersí 31, the Titans sent fullback Quinn Johnson up the middle for no gain. Then on fourth down Damian Williams was well covered by Tramon Williams, and Jake Lockerís pass fell incomplete.

Rant: Anyone blaming Mike McCarthy for Randall Cobbís ankle injury on a third-quarter punt should also start worrying about getting out of bed in the morning. McCarthy wisely pulled Aaron Rodgers and Clay Matthews in the fourth quarter, but he canít protect everyone from injury. Now is not the time for McCarthy to start coaching out of fear.

Rave: The Packersí defense got off to a rousing start and set the tone on the first series. B.J. Raji batted down a Locker pass, A.J. Hawk stuffed Chris Johnson for a 1-yard loss and Matthews had a third-down sack.

Rant: The punters struggled in the first quarter, perhaps due in part to the 14-degree wind chill. Tim Masthay had a 21-yard punt when attempting to place the ball inside the 20. The Titansí Brett Kern shanked a 31-yarder out of bounds that gave the Packers the ball at the Tennessee 43 and set up a touchdown.

Rave: The last time the Packers scored 55 points in a game was 29 years ago. The Packers held commanding advantages in first downs (28-10), total yards (460-180), time of possession (34:24 to 25:36) and quarterback sacks (7-1).

Rant: The Packers left Titans tight end Taylor Thompson uncovered in the first quarter, but Locker underthrew the wide open target for an incompletion. It was a case of bad execution on both sides.

Rave: For a guy who was unemployed just a few weeks ago, Ryan Grant produced a solid all-around game. He came out smoking with runs of 6, 18 and 9 yards on the second offensive series to help the Packers on their 56-yard touchdown drive. For the game, Grant rushed 20 times for 80 yards and two touchdowns. He added a 34-yard third-quarter reception to the Titansí 1 to set up another touchdown.

Rant: Cobb dropped a third-down Rodgers pass on the Packersí first offensive series, forcing a punt. He had another drop on a first-quarter deep pass when he came back for the ball but couldnít hang on, which led to another punt.
