Packers Inactives: Green, Worthy sit; Dietrich-Smith starts

Dec. 23, 2012

Packers running back Alex Green was not cleared from his concussion and has been ruled out for today's game against the Tennessee Titans.

Without Green, the Packers will turn to recently re-signed veteran Ryan Grant, who'll be getting his first start since last year's NFC Divisional playoff game against New York.

The Packers' other six inactives were wide receiver Jordy Nelson (hamstring), tight end Tom Crabtree (hamstring), defensive back Charles Woodson (collarbone), running back James Starks, defensive linemen Jerel Worthy (hamstring) and C.J. Wilson (knee).

Offensive linemen Don Barclay and Greg Van Roten, who were both questionable with illnesses, are active with Barclay slated to get his third career start at right tackle.

With Barclay in the lineup, Evan Dietrich-Smith will remain the starter at center after the team benched 37-year-old veteran Jeff Saturday this past week.

Mike Neal will start in place of C.J. Wilson at right defensive end while James Jones will again start in place of Nelson, who's missing his third consecutive game.
