New Year's Eve at ComedyCity

ComedyCity in downtown De Pere will ring in the new year with three different New Year's Eve shows Monday night.

All shows are 1 hours in length. The show themes and start times are "Celebrate New Year's with the Brazilians" at 7 p.m., "Celebrate New Year's with the Nova Scotians & Bolivians" at 9 p.m. and "Celebrate New Year's with Those Crazy Americans" at 11 p.m.

Admission for each show is $12 for adults and $10 for children, senior citizens and military personnel.

Holiday hoops at WDP, SNC

The west side of De Pere will be hopping with basketball the next four days as West De Pere High School and St. Norbert College host tournaments.

? A total of 16 games will be played in the West De Pere Holiday Tournament for boys and girls on the varsity and junior-varsity levels.

The girls games will start at noon and 2 p.m. today and Friday. West De Pere is joined by Kewaunee, Menasha and Wrightstown.

The boys games will start at 4 and 6 p.m. today and Friday. West De Pere is joined by Green Bay East, Kewaunee and Menasha.

Admission each day is $3 for adults and students. Children 5 and younger are admitted free.

? St. Norbert's sixth annual Nicolet National Bank Holiday Tournament features four men's basketball teams at Schuldes Sports Center.

First-round games are Saturday. Northwestern (Minn.) College plays University of Wisconsin-Whitewater at 5 p.m., followed by St. Norbert against Marian University at 7. The tournament will conclude Sunday with the consolation game at 5 p.m. and the championship at 7.
