Skyward employees participate in a training session with school staff members from the Instituto San Roberto School in Mexico earlier this year. The Stevens Point-based company provides student administrative software to K-12 schools worldwide.
While it waits for a decision by Wisconsin on a statewide student information system provider, Stevens Point-based Skyward continued to receive accolades and experience growth throughout the world this year.
Skyward President Scott Glinski said the company, which has supplied student administrative software to K-12 schools since 1980, set a record in 2012 by installing its software in 105 new districts. Most recently, Skyward signed on to provide software to Lake County School District in Florida beginning in January. The district, north of Orlando, has about 147,000 students.
