Oneidas should build facility on reservation

I'm writing in regard to the Oneida trash-burning facility planned for the west side of Green Bay. I've been a lifelong resident of the northeast side of Green Bay and remember when Green Bay had a garbage-burning incinerator at the end of North Quincy Street, and one at the northern end of Military Avenue, which is near where they plan to build the new facility. I remember the fine particles of soot and the smell when the wind was blowing a certain way.

Green Bay has just invested a couple million dollars to upgrade Bay Beach Amusement Park to attract more people, which has been a success. The Oneida plant would lie about 1.5 miles due west of Bay Beach, and with the usual westerly winds during the summer months, Bay Beach would be right in line for any pollution.

I think the Oneida Nation should build the new facility off Highway 54 on the west end of their reservation. They could then handle the garbage from Seymour, Pulaski, De Pere and Green Bay, and they could use the electricity produced by their plant to power their casino and other facilities.
