Manitowoc-area forecast: Snow may cause slippery road conditions

The National Weather Service has issued a special weather statement cautioning that light snow may cause slippery roads today and tonight over central and east-central Wisconsin.

Total accumulations of 1 to 3 inches are expected. The light snow will create slippery spots on roadways through the Fox Valley and Lakeshore and west into central Wisconsin. Motorists are cautioned to slow down and travel with care.

Chance of snow is 100 percent in Manitowoc with a total daytime accumulation of around an inch possible. The daytime high should be near 29 with east winds around 6 mph. ...
