Marshfield Clinic second in Consumer Reports state health rankings

Marshfield Clinic ranked second out of 19 medical groups in the state for providing cancer screenings, caring for people 60 and older and treating heart disease.

Consumer Reports magazine released the report Thursday after reviewing data Wisconsin medical groups submitted voluntarily to the Wisconsin Collaborative for Healthcare Quality.

Marshfield Clinic received an overall score of 83 points out of 100, second to Appleton-based ThedaCare Physicians. Each of the state's medical groups included in the report scored above the national average of 50 points. ...
