Artist wants emotional response from viewers

Realism and great attention to composition helps award-winning artist Rebecca Korth evoke an emotional response from the viewer.

Korth of Marshfield will share her collection of oil paintings at the LuCille Tack Center for the Arts gallery. During the month of January, viewers will be able to see still life, landscape, floral and wildlife. There will be an opening reception from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Jan. 4.

As far back as she can remember, Korth has been expressing herself through art. She said, "By high school, I had taken as many art classes as possible." ...
