Slovenia is the only country that has "Love" in its name. Very corny, I know, but I love Slovenia for a special reason. All four of my grandparents emigrated from small villages near Ljubljana in the early part of the last century, with the surnames Trunkel, Stalzer, Perovsek and Blatnik.

I have grown up with Slovenian food and song. so please excuse me if I tell you more than you want to know about this tough little country and its very proud, self-reliant people.
