The ball of lights sits at half-mast Sunday, Dec. 30, in honor of the late Dick Clark at Menasha's Curtis Reed Square ahead of the city's New Year's Eve New York-style lighted ball drop at midnight on Monday.

Clark hosted the televised "New Year's Rockin' Eve" from New York for more than four decades. He died in April at age 82. Menasha's 19th annual FirstEve also features a fireworks display at midnight. Festivities begin at 10:30 p.m. Monday.
