Women's basketball: UWGB trounces Wichita State

WICHITA, Kan. - The University of Wisconsin-Green Bay women's basketball team and its defense is making life difficult for opposing offenses lately.

The Phoenix beat Wichita State 63-42 in front of 1,449 at Koch Arena on Sunday afternoon. It never trailed in the game and led by as much as 23 in the second half.

Senior forward Sarah Eichler led the way with 15 points. Fellow senior forward Lydia Bauer added 11, while sophomore point guard Megan Lukan had seven assists. ...
