The next CW 14 Star search is under way.

WCWF-TV, the CW affiliate for Notheastern Wisconsin, is looking for a local personality to appear in commercials and station promotions and at live events as well as report on entertainment in the area.

The next CW 14 Star will take over for Maria Parmigiani, who has had the gig for nearly two years.

Auditions will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Jan. 17 and 1 to 4 p.m. Jan. 19 at Paul Mitchell the School, 3450 Packerland Drive, Green Bay. They're the first step in a process that will eventually choose the next CW 14 Star, which is a paid one-year position. Viewer votes will also figure into the final decision.
