Alex Becka, 23, was born in Wisconsin, a straight-A student at Lincoln High School and a state champion in wrestling.

But Tuesday he'll be in Pasadena rooting loudly for Stanford as the Pac-12 champions seek to hand the University of Wisconsin Badgers a third straight defeat at "The Grandaddy of Them All" - the Rose Bowl.

"I'll still be happy if UW wins ... but I'll really be happy if Stanford wins," said Becka, who graduated earlier this year with a bachelor's degree in chemistry from the California university. He didn't even know what state it was in until his junior year at Lincoln. ...
