It was a busy week at Lutheran Homes & Health Services (LHHS) before the Christmas holiday even began. On Dec. 17, staff and students and volunteers from Marian University's Financial Office brought gifts to all the residents at LHHS. The Marian University Financial Office raised funds above and beyond what they expected to and purchased calendars, towel sets, and lotion for every resident. They then hand-delivered all gifts along with Christmas cheer and well wishes.

On Tuesday, Dec. 18, employees from Sadoff & Rudoy Industries also brought gifts purchased from resident's wish lists. Earlier in the fall, residents made Christmas wish lists of items they either needed or wanted. It was then divine intervention when Tanya Smith of Human Resources from Sadoff & Rudoy called LHHS and generously offered to adopt all of the residents and fulfill each person's wish list. Residents were thrilled and many overcome with emotion when employees hand-delivered the gifts and explained that Sadoff & Rudoy donated all the items because they wanted to give back to the community.

Everyone at Lutheran Homes & Health Services including friends and family want to sincerely thank Marian University Financial Office and Sadoff & Rudoy Industries for making the holiday season a little brighter for all the residents at LHHS.
