Few incidents reported New Year's Eve, officials say

Law enforcement officials in Fond du Lac and Dodge Counties reported a very quiet New Year's Eve.

"It could be that people just don't have the money now, but it was very quiet," Fond du Lac County Sheriff's Office Capt. Rick Olig said. "We didn't have anything too serious."

According to dispatch logs, officers responded to four accident calls - no injuries, one intoxicated driver call, one theft call, one burglary call, eight runoffs, and 50 traffic stops Monday through Tuesday afternoon. ...
