Funds may be available for blizzard clean-up costs

Municipalities may be eligible to receive help in recovering clean-up costs related to the pre-Christmas blizzard of 2012.

State of Wisconsin Emergency Management has sent a formal request to Dodge County for a breakdown of costs for clean-up and emergency measures during the Dec. 19-21 storm, said Joe Meagher, emergency management director the county.

The request is in response to National Weather Service data indicating that Dodge County met or exceeded record snowfall amounts during the storm. ...
