Springs basketball powers past rival WLA

The St. Mary's Springs girls basketball team had allowed WLA's offense to get comfortable. That stopped late in the third quarter as the Ledgers raced to a 47-34 win at Hutter Gymnasium on Thursday night.

Kelli Schrauth continued her great sophomore campaign with 19 points and 16 rebounds. Her post counterpart Abby Hilbert was solid with 13 points for the Vikings.

WLA took a 27-26 lead in the third period, only for the Ledgers to close the game on a 21-7 run. ...
