All Wood County snowmobile trails will open at 8 a.m. Saturday, said Heather Gehrt, Wood County snowmobile/ATV coordinator, in a news release.

All trails will close at 8 a.m. Monday in anticipation of the warmer temperatures and precipitation, the release said.

Snowmobilers are encouraged to ride with care as trail conditions are reported to be fair to poor and trail conditions can vary greatly over a short distance. Speed should be reduced on plowed fields as those areas could be very rough in places. Snowmobilers also should stay aware of possibility of open water when crossing creeks or swamps.

Go to www.co.wood.wi.us/departments/parks or like Wood County Park & Forestry Department on Facebook for trail updates.
