Owners of the Wausau banquet hall The Rose Garden owe more than $750,000 in loans and interest payments to a local bank, meaning the hall will be auctioned off this month in a sheriff's sale of delinquent, foreclosed properties.

The Rose Garden, 131 W. Thomas St., was opened in 1994 by Aaron and Rose Wicker of Wausau as a place to host and serve meals for meetings, wedding receptions, fundraisers and other events.

Court records show that the business, owned by the Wickers and their company, Wicker Properties, was foreclosed on July 24 and the Wickers owed Associated Bank $759,323. ...
