Frozen Tundra is history.

The Lambeau Field turf will be as natural as possible for Saturday's NFC wild-card playoff game between the Green Bay Packers and Minnesota Vikings, the team's field manager says. Temperatures are expected to be in the teens when the game starts at 7 p.m.

Allen Johnson said Thursday the GrassMaster hybrid turf and Lambeau's underground heating system make it possible for the field to be within the National Football League's standards for hardness and playability. ...
