This was not the way the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay men's basketball team wanted to start Horizon League play.

The Phoenix had trouble finding any type of rhythm and fell 64-53 at Wright State in the conference opener for both teams on Thursday.

UWGB (6-8, 0-1) dropped to 0-6 in true road games this season and has lost 10 of its last 11 contests at the Nutter Center against the Raiders, who have won five of their last six games and performed better than a squad picked to finish last in the Horizon League's preseason coaches' poll. ...
