Candidates file for city, school board elections

Eight people have filed to run for two open seats on the Marshfield School Board, which means there will be a primary election, said Deb Hall, Marshfield City Clerk.

There are no contested races for City Council positions.

Both School Board President Tim Deets and board member Graham Olson are not seeking re-election. Of the eight candidates seeking a school board seat, the four who garner the most votes in the Feb. 19 primary will advance to the April 2 spring election. ...
