A new study shows youth smoking is at an all-time low in Wisconsin, with double-digit decreases in smoking rates for both high school and middle school students in two years.

The study released Dec. 10 by the Wisconsin Department of Health Services and the Department of Public Instruction showed a 26 percent decrease in the rate of smoking among high school students and a 36 percent drop in middle school smoking since 2010. The study included 40 high schools and 42 middle schools across the state.
