Dylon Pokorny recently received the 2012 Wisconsin Honey Producers Association (WHPA), Outstanding Youth Award.
Pokorny began beekeeping in April 2010, when his grandpa purchased him his first hive. Since then, Dylon has grown his business to seven hives. He has developed a client base; and directly sells both honey and creamed honey to his customers.

"I like beekeeping, it is rewarding and challenging. The more you learn, the more questions you have," states Pokorny. In addition, he is a member of the Dodge County 4-H and Waupun FFA where he is involved in the beekeeping project.
