They came from places like Marietta, Ga., Duluth, Minn. and Appleton for one thing: playoff football at Lambeau Field in January.

Fans started tailgating around Lambeau Field mid-afternoon ahead of tonight's NFC wild-card playoff game between the Green Bay Packers and Minnesota Vikings.

"I go to a couple games a year at the Metrodome and this is the first time I have ventured away from there to watch the Vikings," said Keith Johnson, a Duluth resident dressed in a Vikings jersey. "It's a whole different feel... I can see how crazy it's going to be." ...
