University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point men's hockey coach Chris Brooks relies on a basic philosophy for success.

Leave all those highlight reel plays and fancy passes for the pickup games. The second year Pointers coach would much rather watch his players, as they say: Keep it simple stupid.

UWSP did that on both ends of the ice for the better part of the first two periods Friday night and five different players found the back of the net in a relatively comfortable 5-2 nonconference victory over St. Olaf at K.B. Willett Arena. ...
