Judge to robber: Do 'soul-searching' in prison

A 28-year-old Wisconsin Rapids man was sentenced Friday to five years in prison on charges that he held up employees at a Wisconsin Rapids restaurant at gunpoint.

Paul E. Bullock was given credit for 618 days already served and eight years of extended supervision to follow his prison sentence for armed robbery, substantial battery and false imprisonment, all as a repeat offender. Wood County Circuit Judge Nicholas Brazeau Jr. also ordered Bullock to have no contact with his victims, pay $3,311 in restitution plus court costs and undergo any counseling deemed necessary.
