The Aging & Disability Resource of Central Wisconsin will offer a six-week educational program called Powerful Tools for Caregivers. This program is designed to provide the tools to take care of yourself while you're caring for a loved one. Participants will learn to reduce stress, improve self-confidence, better communicate feelings, balance life, increase their ability to make tough decisions and locate helpful resources.

The next session will be from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Mondays, Jan. 21 to Feb. 25 at Aging & Disability Resource Center, Wisconsin Rapids. Cost is free to ages 60 and older, $10 for those younger than 60.

Registration is required. Call Erin at the Aging & Disability Resource Center of Central Wisconsin, 715-424-8463, to sign up. Respite care can be arranged upon request when registering.
