On a cold and cloudy Wednesday afternoon, a group of women sat at tables in the gathering area of Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Church in Wisconsin Rapids.

Much of the time, their heads were bent over rosary beads.

The women, all retired, weren't actually praying the rosary - a sequence of prayers said while going from one bead to the next. They were making them, connecting one bead at a time. ...
