Luxemburg-Casco High School’s top academically ranked senior, Dawson Nonn, currently enjoys a 4.083 cumulative grade point average, a 34 ACT score, and will have completed Advanced Placement calculus, AP statistics, AP physics, AP U.S. history and Japanese upon graduation. Over his high school career, Dawson has been a member of the Math Team, Science Team, One-Act Play, forensics, musical and school newspaper staff. He has also represented L-CHS at Badger Boys State, the World Affairs Conference, and is currently serving as the student representative to the L-C Board of Education. AP physics teacher Matt Wautier states, “Dawson is an amazing student — his attention to detail and desire to learn make him a model student in physics”; while AP statistics instructor Brenda Touchinski comments, “Dawson would routinely go to the library to research beyond the standard AP Stats curriculum — if he didn’t score a five on the AP exam, no one did.” Dawson will attend the University of Wisconsin-Madison next fall where he plans on majoring in statistics, Japanese, and Spanish.
