Food baskets for needy distributed

Central Wisconsin Detachment 350 met Dec. 22 at Trig's in Stevens Point to load and distribute food baskets for needy veterans and families. More than $3,000 of food and items were purchased. Needed items were distributed to Operation Boot Strap in Stevens Point and veterans and needy families in Portage, Marathon and Waupaca counties. Marines assisting with food baskets for the needy mission included Stan Potocki, from left, Chris Glodowski, Jerry Wojcik, Eric Hirzy, Ray Potocki, Julian Sonnentag, Ron Borski, Hank Hughlett, Tom Lepkowski, Rollie Johnson, Bob Stroik, Bob Pallen, Stan Olejniczak and Dan Johnson.
