Krystal Ribble knew she was meant to be the mother of the little girl with light-brown hair the moment she saw her photo pinned to a bulletin board at Calvary Bible Church in Neenah.

"It just struck me that there was something about this child," Ribble said of 8-year-old Alina, who is living in a Russian orphanage. "It sort of came out of nowhere."
