A home decorated by Lenny & Deb Mallas at N4995 Hickory Road was voted the winner in the eighth annual Fond du Lac Festivals Light Up the City holiday contest.

The couple utilized a classic approach to win the first-place prize of $500, using wreaths, garlands and flood lights to make their home very welcoming.

Claiming second place and $350 were Tim and Nancy Pierce, 978 S. Park St. The Pierce home was ready for all of the snow with multiple light-up snowmen. They also brought in fun and trendy light colors that popped in contrast to the white snow. ...
