Green Bay gas prices down 2.9 cents

The average retail price for a gallon of gasoline in Green Bay dropped 2.9 cents in the last week, averaging $3.23 a gallon, acording to GasBuddy's daily survey of 127 gas outlets in Green Bay.

That price is 16.5 cents a gallon lower than a year ago and 19.8 cents a gallon lower than a month ago.

Nationally the average was $3.26 a gallon, according to gasoline price website GasBuddy.com. That's 9.3 cents a gallon less than a month ago and 6.8 cents a gallon less than a year ago.
