Sen. Joe Leibham, R-Sheboygan, was sworn in Monday as the President Pro Tempore of the Wisconsin Senate.

The pro tempore assists the Senate president in managing the business of the Senate and leading the body through the procedural process of legislative voting sessions, according to a press release. It is one of six leadership positions that will help organize and direct the legislative agenda.
