Riverwalk work extended to spring

City and school candidates set for spring election

The De Pere Common Council voted unanimously at its Wednesday, Jan. 2, meeting to approve a work extension for Zenith Tech. Inc., the contractor for the second phase of the De Pere Riverwalk project.

Zenith's request for an extension to complete the work in April was amended from the original completion deadline of Jan. 15. The reason for the extension is one of time only and not additional funds and accounts for time lost in obtaining permits from Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources for the project.
