Like many in these parts, Jerry Van Elzen is hoping his prayers are answered twofold this weekend.

A victory by the Green Bay Packers on the road against the San Francisco 49ers in the second round of the National Football League playoffs Saturday night is the first part of the request. If the Packers prevail, the accompanying second wish is for the Seattle Seahawks to go into Atlanta and upset the top-seeded Falcons on Sunday.

That would set up an NFC Championship between the Packers and the Seahawks in Green Bay on Jan. 20 - and just might mean a lot more business for Van Elzen and his crew. ...
