Lions Club hosts breakfast Sunday

De Pere Lions Club will hold its third annual Pancake, Porky & Egg Breakfast from 8 a.m. to noon Sunday, Jan. 13, at Swan Club at Legends Brewhouse & Eatery of De Pere, 875 Heritage Road.

Tickets can be purchased in advance. Prices are $5 for adults and $3 for children 3 to 12. Prices at the door will be $5.50 for adults and $3.50 for children 3 to 12. Children 2 and younger are free.

All funds raised at the event will support the community.

Science expo at Shopko Hall

The Einstein Project Science Expo will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 12, at Shopko Hall, 1901 S. Oneida St., Ashwaubenon.

The expo is a day of hands-on science fun geared toward the whole family.

Admission is $2 for adults and $5 for children 3 to 18. Children 2 and younger are free.

The Ameriprise Science Fair for students in grades 1 to 8 is held in conjunction with the expo.

Financial aid seminar Wednesday

Green Bay Area Chamber of Commerce's Partners in Education program will offer a financial aid seminar Wednesday night, Jan. 16, at Northeast Wisconsin Technical College, 2740 W. Mason St., Green Bay.

The seminar, hosted by Wells Fargo Bank, is geared to high school students and their parents/guardians.

Financial aid officers from NWTC, St. Norbert College in De Pere and University of Wisconsin-Green Bay will be involved in the presentation and a question-and-answer session.

The seminar will start with the program from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., followed by the Q&A session from 7:30 to 8:15, in Room SC132.
