Packers' Greene makes Hall of Fame finalist list again

Jan. 11, 2013

Packers outside linebackers coach Kevin Greene is one of 15 finalists for the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

Greene, who joined the Packers coaching staff in 2009, is the NFL's career leader in sacks by a linebacker with 160.

He played for the Los Angeles Rams (1985-92), Pittsburgh Steelers (1993-95), Carolina Panthers (1996, 1997-98) and San Francisco 49ers (1997). Greene has been a finalist several times before.

The 15 finalists (listed below) join two senior candidates (former Packers linebacker Dave Robinson and former Chiefs and Oilers defensive tackle Curley Culp) and will be considered for selection during Super Bowl week in New Orleans next month.

The 15 modern-era finalists were selected from a group of 127 nominees. To be elected, a finalist must receive a minimum of 80 percent of the votes.
