Anna Kraus, a senior at Fond du Lac High School, recently had a one-page script idea (called a treatment) accepted by Milwaukee Film's Collaborative Cinema program.
A student in Amy Jahn's Film Studies course, Kraus submitted her screenplay idea to this organization and was awarded the opportunity to attend two workshops with professional mentors in various "specialties" within the film industry.
During these workshops, Kraus will learn about writing a script from story and character development - to formatting a screenplay. She will also receive one-on-one feedback from professionals as she turns her ideas into a 10-page script.
Finished scripts will become contenders for the Collaborative Cinema summer film shoot.
